A doula provides continuous emotional, practical and informational support throughout pregnancy, birth and the early postnatal period. I am there to listen, help you explore your options and make sure you feel informed, cared for and confident as you transition into parenthood.

A midwife is a medically trained professional responsible for the clinical care and safety of you and your baby. As a doula, I do not provide medical advice or perform clinical tasks. My role is to offer consistent emotional and practical support alongside the care provided by your midwife or medical team.
-
Not at all. My role is to support both you and your partner. I can offer reassurance, suggest ways your partner can help and step in when they need to rest. Together, we create a calm and supportive team around you.

Birth can be unpredictable, and my support is not dependent on a particular type of birth. Whether you experience an induction, caesarean birth, epidural or an unexpected change of direction, I will remain alongside you, helping you understand your options and feel supported in the decisions you make.

You can contact me at any stage of your pregnancy. Booking earlier gives us more time to get to know one another, discuss your wishes and prepare for birth together. However, it is never too late to ask, and I am always happy to discuss availability and the support you need.
